I think its more of an ethical and moral debate than anything, but I would say, in my opinion, that yes, it's wrong. Babies put their hands in their mouths...there's formaldehyde in nail polish, which can cause cancer when ingested...so, yeah, I think its bad.
@sarahemccormick, just curious... why do you consider painting baby nails to be a moral or ethical debate? I'm honestly interested! It just reminds me of how people went crazy when some celeb painted her toddler's nails red and the public was saying that red is too provocative for a toddler or something.

Nope. But I suggest only using baby nail polish. Yep, they make it :) it's called Piggy Paint and it's non toxic, has no chemicals and is organic :)
