you could try a bassinet for now and when the baby gets bigger do the crib. that'll give you time to figure out how to fix the room

yes I agree the bassinet is a good choice. That's what I'm using. It fits perfect in the corner on the side of my bed. When she gets about 5 months I will switch to the crib
