UPDATE Went to my 40 week follow up and im still only dialated at 1 cm. my bp is high at 139/100 so now I have to get induced tomorrow! I was trying to avoid getting induced because I hear it's more painful but the doc said my bp will only continue to go higher because I'm now at my 40 weeks, so I have no choice. There's this gel they'll put in to help me dialate and that can take 24 hrs to take effect. So I could deliver Sunday night or Monday morning. let me know your experience if you've been induced!

my water broke but I didnt go into labor so they had to induce my labor and it wasn't bad. I progressed pretty quickly and I labored for 9 or 10 hours before needing pain meds. My son was delivered via c section after 14 hours because he was too big for me to deliver naturally which is why I had a long labor. I promise it won't be bad. It'll hurt but it wont be that bad.
