how many of you mommys still do your makeup even if you have a newborn or a baby? people who…

I'm going to try and do my make up more but it's so out hot outside I get tired

I wore makeup up until now . Not because I'm lazy but because I don't want that crap on my baby when she rubs her head on me . So I look like shrek lmao

I do my make up as often as I can but most days I don't have the motivation to do it. I'm extremely self conscious about my postpartum body so doing my make up makes me feel a lot better about myself.

But I'm okay with that 😍

you're so gorgeous @athenas_mommy so flawless! & plus I love your eyebrows! & thats true. im planning to just wear it when I go to school & work, but then when I come home take it all off

lol i think I'll still be able to do my makeup and hair once my newborn is here and sleeping . I don't think it'll be that hard. ESP bcus I don't take long to get ready (:

Girl do not listen to people who tell you to kiss that crap goodbye! I'm a cosmetologist so I'm obsessed with having my hair & make up done. I've always had time to do it even with a kid. When my son was a newborn it was way easy, they sleep like 75% of the day! So he would either be chillin in his swing or asleep in the crib or something while I did my hair & make up. Even if he was awake, he would just chill with me. Newborns are pretty easy! When he got a little bit older to where he didn't just sit in one spot, i would manage my time...if I had somewhere to go in the AM then I would wake up before he did and get ready. If not then I would just get ready while he naps. Now that he's 1.5 and runs around like Tasmanian devil it is a little harder but I still make it work. I ether wake up before him and do it, do it while he naps, or just do it while he's awake and he plays in the bathroom with me or wherever I'm getting ready. Sorry for the long comment haha I just don't want you to be discouraged because it's very possible and you'll still be a hot mama :) now that I'm about to have two kids tho, I dunno how the hell im gonna do my hair and make up! 😂😂😩

@tattedmommy, exactly! people make it seem like the end of the world, which it really isnt! & they're also like "you wont have enough to be buying expensive makeup" & i just answer, sorry hunny but Ill have a good paying job at that time

@bebeonboard, yeah i mean i have nothing against moms that choose not to get ready or do their hair/makeup. like that's their choice!! but as for me, that's something that i love to do and makes meee happy!! especially since I'm 22 years old and a young mommy I wanna be able to enjoy doing my makeup and hair still :-) hehe don't worry and we are both having little baby girls!! how exciting ❤️😍 they will def enjoy watching us get ready when they're growing up xx

@queendavis, girl you just made my day! dont worry, its a long & great paragraph! its totally true! they make it seem like its the end of the world when it really isnt! we can still look bomb & have our babies at the same time! i am literally going to tell them everything you just said! thank you!

I don't wear make-up much anymore but for me its more of a my husband is the breadwinner, I can't work through this pregnancy, so I try to save us money wherever possible, and that means using my make-up sparingly, until baby is born, and I get to start working again

thats how I am in the situation, but I subscribed to makeup in the mail for 10$ a month.. in a year you have so many cute things & its for a cheap price :) @williams15

@bebeonboard, aw haha I'm glad I made your day! :) I just hate when people think that being a mom restricts you from looking good, cause it totally doesn't!! I love being a mom, and more than anything a mom who still looks good and does herself up! When you're a mom you're seriously mentally dragging ass all day, your brain turns into mush lol so you need to have something to keep you put together, and feeling pretty is usually what keeps me going on those days when I'm just mentally exhausted! It's important to keep taking care of yourself even when you're a mom! && @tattedmommy I'm having a girl too and I agree that they'll enjoy watching us get ready when they're growing up. I love seeing little girls who are fascinated with the art of beauty! Gota pass it on to the babies 👌🏼👊🏼

I'll keep that in mind after we have everything ready for baby, and a new uniform for him, and a new heating element for our dryer, my husband is Army, and he needs new boots which cost almost $200, and the uniform itself costs over $200 also! its so frustrating!!

@queendavis aww, I totally agree with everything you said! it's funny bcus I saw a girl that looked just like you today at forever21😍😂 she had two kids & still looked SO put together and dressed sooo cute!😱 I was like OMG I hope I can look that cute after having my baby :) heheh! us mommies gotta support each other and stick together!

@williams15 aw, that's very respectable ! I think that's a smart choice and to stick to drugstore makeup if u have to. I save my high end make up for important occasions but on most days - I wear drugstore!

I feel like trying to save money is the least I can do since I can't work. @tattedmommy I still have my make-up stockpiled from before I got married so I should be able to hold off on buying any make-up for quite awhile, but I definitely want to know what site @bebeonboard uses!

glossy box or boxy charm, those are the ones I want to get next.. there I think 20 a month, but I have ipsy right now.. they give out super cute makeup! like brushes & lipstick, eyeliner, you name it! @tattedmommy @williams15

Aw haha thank you! It's true tho, us mamas gota stay pretty! & yeah cutting down on the time will happen for all new moms. I've managed to be able to do my hair and make up all within an hour and that includes blow drying my hair! And that's pretty quick for me cause before kids I used to take my sweet time and take like two hours lmao.

Props to y'all that do theirs everyday lol it's too hot here for that I just can't with the sticky face from sweating oh noo 🙈 I just try to stick to under eye concealer , mascara & bronzer

I hate when people say those things! I was told I won't ever have time to do my hair or makeup by my friend who has only attempted three times.. I'm not gonna look like a run down mom at only 22 lol I mean some women look good without makeup but I'll be definitely trying to fit it in my schedule
