Hello to anyone who is reading this,
I am 18 years old and hoping to have a baby in the near future. Now I am not rushing to have one right now but I was wondering when a good age was to have one. I was thinking 21 or 22. I don't want to have a baby in my 30's not saying to anyone who has had one then or older is bad but that is just my personal preference. I am with someone and we just started dating so like I said I don't want to rush it but I do want to have one fairly soon. please give me some helpful but nice feedback on what you guys think. thank you.

Have a baby when you can financially support your baby and yourself ! A baby isn't cheap.. 😘 Good luck love !

im 18 and pregnant and honestly i think 23 would be a good age.. that way you have experienced a normal 21st birthday and get your partying stage over with. if you are a partyer..(idk how to spell partyer)

I say your mid twenties but honestly I feel like it depends on where you are in life..are you stable? Can you financially support yourself? Are you in a stable relationship where you both mutually agree on having kids and raising them together? It's just so many factors and like @threekings101415 babies are not cheap at all! But I trust you will do what right for you..good luck mama!

@mandapanda, i give birth in december.. and my babydaddy isnt claiming it, so basically doing it on my own with no "spousal" support is pretty tough. that and my car just broke down so i have to buy a new one... growing up to fast is a deep struggle too.. working sucks because it kills my back, but i know once my baby girl is here it will all be worth it :) hard but worth it.

@babyalien, wow I am sorry I hope you have support near you if not I am always a click away. And I am also contemplating when to get married. I know that is a big word and a big commitment for someone this young but I mean I don't know if I want to have a baby when we are not married or wait till marriage.

@mandapanda, definitly make sure you are financially stable. i go to thrift stores and get donations through friends for clothes and stuff like carseats and baby baths and play pens etc.. you dont honestly have to spend big bucks but diapers, wipes, formula is definitly a spender if you want a good brand.. WIC and food stamps and medicaid is how im getting by, and of course help from friends and family!
sara·
well im not on food stamps right now but you get the pictufe

And does your family support you? My parents are very strict so I am afraid even if I was 23 to tell them I am pregnant. I am afraid they would kick me out or something

Honestly I would say wait until marriage. I know marriages don't always work but they are harder to walk away from. Establish a good relationship with your partner and decide together. I had my first at 21 and another at 23. I am 30 now and having my last and the first two I was not married... I honestly wish I would have waited not that they were planned but I didn't get to achieve all my dreams. It's definitely doable.. I raised two and had a good lifestyle owned my house, new cars but it was a struggle... I just don't wish that struggle on anyone... I'm the oldest of four and I preach it to my sisters (youngest is 17) just enjoy your life.. Travel, do everything you imagined and then have your child... Best of luck to you baby girl.. Regardless of the situation you will be ok 😀

I got pregnant at 22 and I am also married. Now if I wasn't married I don't think I would've have tried to get pregnant because it was a decision my husband and I made together. We've been together for almost four years in October. You definitely want to be financially stable. He's in the military so we knew we could afford having one but that doesn't mean we have tons of money either lol he is the only one who works because we live in Italy so I haven't been able to get a job yet, also I'm due soon. You don't need to be married to have one but just make sure who you're with is gonna be there for the both of you. There's never a right age to have one but I also didn't want one in my 30s either!
