No, he was just doing a regular exam to see how much I was dilated cuz I was already in the hospital in labor but I wasn't feeling pain yet until my water broke as he walked out lol

@kid12, oh wow I hope this jump started my labor. Do you think your Dr might of stripped your membrane ?

I was already in labor for my 1st pregnancy but wasn't feeling the pain just non pain contractions. but when they did the cervix check as soon as doc walked out of the room BOOM my water broke & I started to have painful contractions.

It can't, I've been checked 3 separate times and baby's still in there lol, I had all those same issues after being checked 😕

@mamalamadingdong, no I just asked if she could check. I didn't ask for a sweep. I have back pain, lots of pressure, my pelvis is killing me, and my contractions feel stronger.

my mom said that with 2 of her 3 pregnancies she went into labor after having her cervix was checked
