while I'm at work my daughters dad puts her in her swing and turns on the baby monitor and goes in another room to sleep. isn't this unsafe?

Yeah but is it ok for her to stay in there for several hours. I feel like her dad should be rocking her to sleep sometimes and like right now I'm getting ready for work and she's in the swing awake and her dad is asleep @thehowtohippie @

I would keep her in the same room as me. My son slept in his swing lots but always in the same room as me

@audreys_mommy2015, why don't he just put the swing in the room with him... I would say it's unsafe...

If she's awake he should be doing things with her not just sitting in a swing for hours and hours and hours on end that's not good for her body, or posture, or muscles. If she's awake he needs to be awake taking care of her.
