I'm sorry but it really irritates me when I see a mommy on here stating how she's going to formula…

I hate it, too. I don't understand the mommy shaming! What's the point of it? It's her child. Her decision to formula feed doesn't affect you or your children EVER! And that baby is getting fed. What's the big deal? Smh.

I saw this on FB and had to save it. I now use it any time I see mommy shaming online because it's so true!!!!

@ashleymarietv, exactly! I remember posting about formula feeding awhile ago and everyone literally telling me breast is best and that I haven't even had her yet so why am I deciding and blah blah. I like being prepared that's why, jeez.

That's crazy! I'm so sorry you had to go through that, @ngujen! :( It actually makes me angry, haha! Your child, your decision. It's not a decision that will ever affect them or their children. Plus, if you go to a 1st grade classroom, can anyone pick out the kids that have been formula fed versus breastfed? No! The shaming needs to stop!

There was a post on Facebook advertising a product kind of like a Keurig but for formula. It heats up the formula and dispenses it for you, all with the touch of a button, which is cool! And people went CRAZY over it! There was so much shaming, I was so shocked. People kept saying it was lazy, too. I saw a response that I liked though that went something like this... "I live 12 miles from my work. However, I bought a car to drive that 12 miles instead of walking because it's easier and faster. There's nothing wrong with making things more convenient!" Which is so true! Who cares if it's "lazy" in your opinion? It doesn't affect you! If people want to do things that save them time, money, energy, ect., so be it! Why does everyone care so much?! That's what technology is! We use things every day that make things more convenient for us. If you don't like it, guess what? You don't have to use it! You can ignore it! People are crazy, haha! I plan on trying to breastfeed when my baby girl is here, and it's something I feel passionate about, but if I can't or I stop for whatever reason, I'm no going to be ashamed or let others put me down for something that doesn't affect them in any way. They can kiss my ass. I know it's easier said than done though. It never feels good when somebody tries to put you down as a mother. But we're all doing what we feel is best for our kids, or what's best for us in order to be the best mom we can be for our kids. We're all trying! Us moms needs to stick together, no year each other apart over ridiculous crap like this! Sorry for a long post, girl! This kind of thing just really bothers me!
