I just use the seatbelt

if my boyfriends truck they are really hidden and in a weird spot in the back seat it's a Ford f150 I think

@littlemissemma6915, okay. That's good to know! I know the hospital does a car seat safety check and I was so worried they wouldn't let me take him home without having it latched as well as have the seat belt over it! Plus I also want him to be safe!

@steph11, ours is an extended cab. So it's a "bench" type seat. Not full size back seats! I searched for an hour! There's no where on ours. :/ and usually the seats have little indicators of where they are located at.

@steph11, also. Do you keep your baby in the middle seat or behind the passenger side?

ohhhhh that ducks I'd call the hospital to make sure you can use the seat belt. they never checked our base or even if she was strapped in. but we had my car so I'm not sure. I hate using the seat belt I can never get it where I'm happy with it

@steph11, I'll have to play with it when I get my car seat and see what's safest. My husband is pretty strong. So I know he will be able to get the base super tight! And we only live right up the road. So worst case I'll use my parents vehicle to bring him home in!

ive always just used the middle seatbelt. it gets super tight. if hubby does it

and as for grocery cart post. im on baby#3 ive always put the baby in the child seat area n never had a problem. n I even shop at walmart where people are crazy lol

@dnhmommy3, haha. I'm short. I'm only 5'2. So if I do that I won't be able to see over the car seat. Haha but I thought it was interesting to hear some people say they don't latch. Or they aren't made for that purpose. But then to see instructions on it in a manual!

oh sorry missed you're question we have her in the middle because of her brothers car seats and it's the only place she'll fit. usually when I take the truck I'll take out the other 2 car seats and put her behind the passage seats
