does anyone have experience with a colic baby? I think mine may be :-(
That's wonderful! I'm glad he's doing better and feeding well now 😌
turned out he had a upper lip tie , since his revision he's been a totally different baby! @adamsmaaa @mamalamadingdong @xxkawaiinekochanxx
I did!!!! Give him gerber colic drops every night in his milk bottle. Swirl 5 drops in
Thank you @mamalamadingdong reading about it now , it could very well be what he's having , he doesn't like laying flat on his back , especially after eating. and he could be overeating since he wants to stay hooked up to my boob all day
not sure what GERD is , looking it up now. he latches fine and I way more milk than I need , I have to pump every 2-3 hrs
Maybe it's GERD? I'd talk to your pediatrician... there are too many possibilities. I thought my daughter was colicky, but it turned out she was totally normal and cried as babies do. I was a FTM and just didn't know that she was having a hard time latching.
Okay I'll do that ! -thank you @xxkawaiinekochanxx , I swaddled him and he's finally asleep in his swing.
It might be reflux. Call his pediatrician and see for sure if you should bring him in or not. Give his tummy a rest for a little bit try and hold him and walk around a bit then feed him some more
He keeps spitting it out, he acts hungry and when I feed him he spits some right back up. eh screams if I don't feed him (though he just ate 30mins ago) , I don't know what to do
I'd say a soothie since you're breastfeeding
When my oldest had colic I gave her a pacifier. It worked for her
We've tried gripe water , he's strictly breastfed. I don't eat dairy anymore and I stay away from citrus and beans... @mamalamadingdong
Is he breastfed? If so, could be your diet. If he's formula fed, it could be his bottle/nipple or formula brand. It takes a lot of narrowing down. Also, try some gripe water and see if it helps.
Yes everything has been going great , besides us having thrush now... :(
