Okay. So apparently last time I went to my Doctors office,(8/24) they ran test on my urine and it came back Positive for a Urinary Tract Infection. Meanwhile this was 2 weeks ago. And I'm just now getting the call today that they're putting me on antibiotics for a week...does this sounds right? Also I've had literally no symptoms or anything of a UTI....

@ce5ce, I have an appointment tomorrow. So I'm like well shouldn't I just wait until tomorrow so yall can re test me...because it's literally been 2 weeks and 2 days by time I go back so I've had a UTI, for that long with no symptoms and they reason she took 2 weeks to call me is because she was on vacation...

@mommy1990, literally makes no since & I really don't wanna take the antibiotics if it's gone...it's literally been 2 weeks..and I've still had no symptoms!

That's crazy... I had an appt also and never knew I had a uti until I felt EXTREMELY sick 3 days after the appt. I had to go to the er for an ivy and fever and chills were non stop for 2 days. I'm shocked they waited that long. I'd say something. also if u have no symptoms that's weird.

my doctor didn't tell me at all, the pharmacy called and said my medicine was ready. I had no symptoms either so I really didn't take the medicine

if you take the antibiotics I don't think they can screen you for a uti. I think the antibiotics screw up the test. So maybe wait until your appointment so they can test you first?

@alianagirl, @mommy1990 @kelseys @shannonb95 in waiting until tomorrow before I pick them up because I wan to talk to my doctor. Like what office waits 2 weeks to inform the patient of an infection...I know good and damn well it didn't take them 2 weeks to get the results back....and number 2. I wanna make sure that I actually stil have a UTI before I go taking a bunch of crap that I don't even need to be taking and it's still weird that in the 2 week span of having a UTI I haven't had not 1 symptom at all!!!! Literally nothing! But I'm scared that if I have them re test for it tomorrow they're gonna take another 2 weeks to get back with me with the results.... :/ like what the hell. And the nurse was like. well I was out of the office on leave so I'm just now getting to call everyone like excuse me there isn't a nurse that covers you when you take a damn 2 week leave.....what!? Omg so irritating!
