I am stressed out and I need to vent a little..so why not do it on a preggo social media site of women I don't know lol ugh... anyway I worked as a sales rep at a small franchise business of US Cellular...I worked there about 6 months and it was pretty cut throat bc it was a new small business that was thirsty to succeed and profit. I'd nvr done sales before and thou I sucked at first I got to be pretty good and my sales were up. I worked up until 2 weeks ago so almost 4 months into pregnancy until I started having lots of drama in my personal life that the company saw as a liability...I was let go and they blamed it on my sales and performance but I know it was for other reasons out of my control...thou can't say I blame them. Anyway I've been feeling like a bum just laying around everyday, I had horrible sickness but that's ending now that I'm closer to 20 weeks but I filed for unemployment...not sure if I should stick with that or also look for work it's just I'd only have like 4 months to work and it just seems like a hassle. I really planned on keeping that job it just sucks. 😧😔...so idk maybe some words of wisdom regarding unemployment or working during pregnancy? I need some advice ladies. (damn this is a freaking novel)

I am struggling with the exact same thing! I was a radio shack store manager for 9 years and mine closed in April so I got on unemployment around May and got pregnant in June....I've done interviews but not landed anything worthwhile so I've stayed on unemployment. I am showing a lot now so I know that no one is going to hire me for anything substantial for only 5 months plus nothing part time is going to pay as much as my unemployment...Idk what to do

I was laid off from my job that I worked at for 10 years I was really good at my job as well. I was pretty much the only one that knew everything about it well besides my boss who was laid off at the same time I was. Right now it might be hard to find a job especially if your showing I'm not saying you won't find one but if your planning on finding one right now it would be easier if your not showing once you are it might be better to just get unemployment it will be a lot less then a actual paying job but it will be something

thank you @kermi86 and @reaganmommy2015 ... I just had a bitch fit bc I looked at the forms for unemployment to go into detail about what happend and it said the due date passed to turn it in by like 2 days! and that if that's the case then they will decide without my info but I also received paperwork saying i was eligible from a previous job this year I was laid off from soo is that a good sign? ? I want to be somewhat ready for my kid!!! jesus...

Yes you can also do the paperwork online as well they just want to get any information that you can remember plus they will ask your company to verify the information as well so if you get it wrong it's ok. I get unemployment and thankfully I can get it for 2 to 3 years it's just a pain to fill out the stupors paperwork every two weeks cause they say the pay you weekly but it's actually every two weeks like a damn paycheck @andreaooragnak

ah really ? I'm just afraid I'm submitting my information too late...according to the paperwork I was over the "seven days to add info" ..the company knew I was preggo and also I was having a really bad time so I'm so resentful of my GM.
