any advice anyone could give would be awesome....I'm 16wks and I was just fixing my 4yr old her request for the night of hotdogs and beans and while standing in the kitchen I suddenly felt like I was going to black out. I made it to the bathroom and thankfully bc I ended up needing the potty and the trash can and was shaking and sweating. I have always had normal to low blood pressure and had just checked it about an hour prior bc I was feeling strange...it was 113/78 which I know is fine but once I cleaned up myself from this random sickness I took it again and it was 140/89. I don't know what to do or if I should go to the er or what because this has never happened and I feel awful because my daughter was scared watching it all. :(

Are u getting enough sugar???? I felt like I was gonna black out when my blood sugar was to low..

@katemeier, I think so...I had spaghetti-o's with her at lunch and then we had grapes and cheese crackers for a snack a few hours later....I wasn't hungry but knew it would be time to eat soon but my grandpa isn't home yet so I will have him check my blood sugar when he gets home...Should I call the Dr office in the morning or go to the er tonight?

That's a big jump in number in a short period of time. I would call the nurse hotline for your doctor or just go to the ER.

just had my blood sugar checked and it was low....I've also never had an issue with that...is this how g.d. starts? :(

@kermi86, interesting..... hmmmm.... maybe call your doctor in the morning....
