well i was made to feel pretty inadequate as a mom and a person today, not the best feeling. looking at my baby's face tonight tho i realize even if im doing everything completely wrong...i love my child and that is the best i can offer him.

between my mother and mother in law today (not at the same time) i felt very little. my mother in law told me she was afraid she was gonna "NEED" to take the baby when he was born bcuz i (apparently) wasn't excited and showing enough love to him. also although i know part of her is joking, everytime my baby makes a hint of a cry she says something to the effect of "give him to me, mommas so mean" "somebody call cps!" or "oh! add that to the list! what else has momma done to MY (her) baby? " (refering to the "case" she's building against me). **Continued on next comment...
i love my mother in law and we get along great but that shit was only funny the first 80 times. those comments are starting to hurt. 1st he is my baby, 2nd I'd never dream of hurting him and 3rd i love him more than anything in the world. same with my mother. we dont have many issues more than normal mother daughter stuff but tonight she interrupted our bedtime routine and took over, putting him to sleep in the rocking chair and not allowing me to feed him (we are nursing) until he was very upset because she feels like im making his stomach upset and he "just shouldnt have a tummy ache still"...my very calm super laid back child had a gassy stomach yesterday and today...how dare i let that happen. :( overall it was just a very crappy day and between my hormones still crazy and being very tired i just got very down on myself tonight :'/ @mamalamadingdong
