I really just don't understand or support the concept of trying to induce yourself... Your baby will…

Some girl said she was jealous of the women having their babies at 36 weeks and I said something about it and she blocked me lol. Like yea lets put our babies in danger for our own selfish reasons. 😒 and then tell me I'm being rude when I'm concerned lol.

@bria.k, I see women post that stuff all the time ! Why would you want your baby to have complications and have to stay in the hospital longer than necessary? I just don't get it. 🙈 I've seen women as little as 32 weeks asking for ways to induce.

Right!! And it's so sad seeing women on here having to leave their babies in the nicu because they had a premie... Why would you wish that upon yourself? Knowing your baby is in the hands of strangers and you can't even hold them or take them home for weeks? It's heartbreaking.

@Bria.k Seriously, it blows my mind. As uncomfortable as I am at 36 weeks, and so ready for it to all be over. All I want is a healthy baby, I think we can sacrifice a little discomfort for that.

Lol and they think it'll all get better? You think you can't sleep cos your uncomfortable, you'll be losing a lot more sleep when there's a baby crying every three hours lol. And in a lot more pain once you're recovering from pushing a baby out of your cooch.

@Bria.k Lol, exactly. Pregnancy is the easy part !! I think a lot of woman get caught up in "oh, I can't wait to have a cute little baby" & don't realize there's a lot of responsibility that comes along with it.

I'm 39 weeks and 6 days now and I have BAD siatic pain to the point where I have almost fallen standing up cause my leg is numb and most of the time I can't get up on my own anyways cause of how big I am. I agree that trying to induce labor at like 36 weeks is not a good idea but when your a day away from your due date and your dr gives you the okay I don't see a problem with it and being 36 weeks isn't as bad as being 39 or 40 or past your due date .. It gets more uncomfortable I was still working at 36 weeks now there's no way in hell I could make it threw Half a shift

@audreysmama Oh no, I agree with you. If there's medical reasons for it, then by all means do what is necessary especially when a doctor gives the go ahead. I'm 36 weeks now and have a pinched nerve and slipped disc in my back. So I definitely know it gets extremely uncomfortable towards the end. What makes me shake my head is these moms who want to induce for selfish reasons.

Yeah I would never even think about trying to self induce before 38 weeks I waited as long as I could though but this last week is killing my back (which I'm sure you know the pain with your health problems) but Iv been in this site for awhile and I have seen girls post about trying to self induce and how it's bad and trashing someone who's like 38 or 39 weeks for trying to get there baby out

@Audreysmama, Oh, definitely. Sometimes I wish he would just come out now. But I agree, 38+ weeks is fair. I just think we should all try to let our little ones come when they're ready instead of stressing them out. But I know what you mean about mom's trying to get their point across in a very rude way on here. It discourages me from even posting sometimes. There's a way to say stuff without ladies hurting other people's feelings.

Yeah I agree I was going to do caster oil yesterday then read up some of the effects and some mamas told me about it so I decided against it but some moms to be do start trying to early . And yeah Iv seen a lot of people that are just rude but I see your not one of those :) it just upsets me when people bash other moms , so it's always better to get a good understanding of where the other person is coming from before jumping straight to getting mad
