I cooked a squash in the oven for 1.5 hrs it never got soft ???? I checked every 10 min bc it was…

I've never made squash in the oven like that but you can try looking on youtube for videos on how to make it! Youtube is my favoriteeee lol

When ever I've made squash, I cut into 2-3 inch chunks and add a little water to the roasting pan to keep it from drying out if I happen to over cook it. Also what kind of squash did you use?

Butternut probably, what a great squash so yummy. I only wish you hadn't thrown it away, you could have cut it up and boiled it until tender. But better luck next time. I've googled some great recipes. And they all say to add water and place it meat side down. Bake at 400 for 30 min. http://wholesomebabyfood.momtastic.com/squashbabyfoodrecipes.htm. Yep, just boil it until soft keeping an eye on it so you don't boil all the nutrients out.@alicia3_21

well it melted the bag so I am not gonna use it. I.don't know if any plastic got on it or not ! @blue_87
