I have a question for everyone out there. If your boyfriend woke up every night around 2-3 and either went downstairs to watch tv or went on walks across town how would you feel? This isn't one or two nights out of the week it's EVERYnight it makes me feel like he doesn't want to be around me at night and I get really upset. All comments welcomed please!!

He could just have insomnia or rls. I have rls (diagnosed before pregnancy and it's continued) and the only thing that helps is if I walk around. It wakes me up pretty frequently. and hubby has insomnia that wakes him up too a lot and be walks around just to tire himself back out.

I'd definitely talk to him because I can see why it could be a red flag but it could be a really simple explanation :)

plus my hubby has anxiety issues and the walking calms him down. sometimes it's just pacing other times it around our street. It used to upset me but it's not personally, just something he has to do to stay calm enough to sleep.

even if it's not one of those things I'm sure there's plenty of other things that could cause it :) hope you figure it out ď

I have asked him multiple times why and he uses the excuse it's because he cant sleep but he's only using that excuse so I won't get mad. I can understand if it's once or twice a week but it's seriously EVERYnight and then he gets mad at me because I'm mad. It doesn't make sense. And no it got worse when he found out. Before it was maybe once a week going on a walk for about 15 minutes but now it's him bein downstairs or outside for hours

That could definitely be insomnia. it wakes my hubby up around the same time every time and when he has more on his mind he's up longer. It took a doctor to help explain it to us. It's definitely frustrating I understand :) but maybe try seeing a doctor? they might be able to help.
