if you start contractions at work make sure you leave in good time. dont just continue working. how far do you have to travel from work, home to hospital?

Yes ! Labor is a long process and you should spend as much time at home as possible where you are most comfortable

work is like 8 minutes from my house, the hospital is like 15 to 20 minutes away. but if I go into labor between 4-7ish there will be lots of traffic. @peachs75 and okay cool I really didn't want to be smelly in the hospital @royce_nikol

It just depends honestly. I was in labor for an hour and a half and had my son within twenty minutes of arriving at the hospital. You never know how fast or slow your labor will go. It could be very short. Just be careful. I would rather deliver my baby while I smelt like work than have him in the car lol.

sorry totally out of the question but I worked as a line cook to and everything made me so sick! being around all that food I couldn't stand it most of the times..

I haven't really gotten sick at all throughout my pregnancy and smells and stuff haven't effected me lol. @mommytobe_

I think taking a fast shower wouldn't hurt but make sure your contractions have a descent space between them so you don't birth the baby in the car or in the shower lol. A fast shower and don't waist no time lol
