When you get the birth control that goes in your arm......how long after can you start having sex…

Dr told me it works right away but to be safe use protection the first month after that it's fine. had mine for 4 months now.

but like everything else, there's always a small % chance.

Doctor told me almost instantly. But it's not 100% protection like all birth controls so I'd be very very careful

I had it, it was great!! give it a month then it will be just fine. had it for four years and never got pregnant. as soon as I got off here I am 10 weeks (:

I had it in for 3 weeks and had unprotected sex and I had a miscarriage, they say wait a week.

that's what I'm thinking of going for after I have this baby.

my sister's had it for 3 years now and she got the 5 year one and hasn't gotten pregnant so id say it works pretty good cause she don't like protection apparently lol. she waited a month.

my period was very irregular, I bled a lot! that was the worst part @teamjayce2015
