Well My sister had her baby today and she let me be in the room. It was too much and I got dizzy and had to leave for a while after she started pushing😱 then I came back and watched her push him out. I am scared to have my baby now that I know what to expect😔 After she had the baby they took him right away from her to clean him 😑 then she only got to hold him for like 5 mins and they took him straight to the nursery?? I don't want them taking mine right away😡 the worst part about today was my sister showed no emotion after she had the baby. It seemed like she didn't even care. Didnt smile once. Didnt talk to her baby when it was put on her chest for the first time. It was heartbreaking.. That poor baby. I wish she acted different.. Well at least my baby will be VERY loved!!!! 😍😍😍

Usually when you have the baby they clean up the baby then give the baby back to the mom but then they take the baby away to do test on them the baby has to past some test

If you don't want them to take your baby write it on paper have it signed and make sure your doctors know your wishes most places will be fine with it

The best thing is to have immediate skin to skin. My hospital offers immediate kangaroo care for as long as you wish! That's too bad that they took babe so soon! It's possible she was in shock...I mean her body just did the most amazing and strenuous thing it will ever do! ❤️

The hospital where I delivered was all about skin to skin. I ended up having a c section and they still gave me that skin to skin time. They opened my gown and layed him across my chest and I got to hold him there. I bawled like a baby when I heard him cry and when they brought him around the sheet and put him on me I cried even harder. I dont know how someone could be emotionless when meeting their child for the first time

Exactly!! Even I wanted to cry when she had her baby but she wasn't even crying so I just felt awkward. It was sad.. I am about to deliver at that hospital and I am going to be sure to tell them my birth plan. @amber.s95
