Ok so ladies have any of you had really bad anemia when giving birth? If so what happened during your delivery? Any complications or anything? My iron has dropped a lot which they said is causing my heart rate to keep going up and down a lot and makes it feel like it's gonna beat out of my chest sometimes. They told me to take my iron 3 times a day every day and no skipping, but now I'm kinda scared my mom had low iron a lot during her last pregnancy and then her placenta ruptured and she ended up giving birth to my baby brother who was still born bc he drowned in the blood and she ended up having to get a lot of blood bc she was hemorrhaging. So yea now I'm like freaking out like really bad.

Just keep taking your pill like the doctor said. And just believe everything will be fine. I'm anemic and she said if I didn't take my iron pills I would bleed out during labor and possibly die. But I took my pills and ate things with more iron in it and I was fine, no complications what so ever

That's what I'm scared of I've been taking the pills 2 times a day now she wants me to take them 3 times a day. I was anemic before pregnancy but it's gotten a lot worse since I've been pregnant and it never happened with my other 2 babies. I'm just so scared something bad will happen now. And I read online that it could cause pre-term labor which I already have a problem with and they already have me on a shot for that to try and keep me from having her early and now this. 😥
