Get a sharp ( preferably serrated knife). Cut off the top and bottom. Now you can lay it on a flat side. Starting at the top, cut along the side to cut just the outside part off. Rotate and repeat. It will take numerous times to go all the way around. Then I cut it in half from top to bottom. There is a core in the middle that's easy to cut through. I usually cut each half lengthwise again so I have long triangle pieces. The point part of the triangle should be the core. I cut it off. (It's a thicker part-easy to see). Then I just cut into smaller pieces. I hope that wasn't confusing. It's not as hard as it seems. Just need practice.
