@emilywebb, I think it's pretty rare to feel nothing but keep an eye on your symptoms, call your provider whenever you want and I reccomend looking up how to deliver a baby alone, with a partner, and how to perform cpr on a newborn. My son had to be resuscitated and I shudder to imagine what would have happened if I gave birth at home. But I had looked all that stuff up so I feel like I could have managed. Not to scare you!! But better prepared and never have to use it. :) You'll likely know when you're in active labor so try not to stress! Good luck!
i had period like cramps , only time i felt like i was in labor was in the car and when i finally got there but i still wouldn't let them push me in a wheel chair . but if you are you will get a feeling that you want to poop lol
Yeah I would say it does! Nothing is painful to me just really uncomfortable and nervous that it could be the real thing and not know! @alainalovesmommy
I dialated to 5cm with no real definitive symptoms (i had been losing plug for weeks and had one morning of MILD cramping) then I was induced with just dialation gel and sent home. So I ended up in excruciating pain but didn't believe it was labor because there were no waves just constant pain. But it was labor and I almost had my son in the car :) But if you're not stubborn like me, the pain I felt during transition (constant excruciating pain) was very clearly labor!
It was my second @emilywebb I didn't know I was in labor with my daughter I was waiting for my parents to come pick up my son and they were late so I was pissed off and angry so didn't know I was in labor until after they picked him up
