Good morning mamas. Is anyone else having a big baby? I'm 34+5 and my baby is already weighing 5…

I'm not sure how much they grow in the last few weeks. I have heard many times the doctors estimates on the babies weight can be off. But the good news is you're getting close mama & your little could be here any day!

Mine was 5 lbs 4 oz at that time!

@momwifefoodie, My doctor did all the measurements of my baby and that's how she came up with the weight. I haven't gotten a wrong reading in my past pregnancies and this time I'm just a bit shocked because my oldest dd was born at 36 weeks and weighed 4 pounds, and my twins were born at 33 weeks and weighed 3 pounds. I'm a bit excited about my baby being 5 pounds this time but I'm also nervous that by the time I have her I may rip or need to be cut and that really makes me nervous because I pushed all my babies out and I'm scared of c-sections

My twins were 2.8 lbs and 2.5 lbs almost three weeks ago at 27 weeks

@mommy3, oh mama you've got this! You totally got the pushing part down now. But I can see why a 5 pounder could send some fear in your bones😳 that's so nice to hear that your doctor has got the measurements down to a sciences. The tearing isn't the most comfortable but you can totally handle it if you've already pushed out 3. My first little was 6 lbs 3 oz. I think the hardest part about the healing process was the waiting.

@momwifefoodie, 😊 Thanks, I'm more concerned about how much she'll weigh in 4 more weeks. My doctor told me that if she doesn't come on 4 weeks then I'll get induced, but my due date is in 5 weeks so at this point I'm a bit nervous. I just pray that all goes smoothly and I can deliver this baby too vaginally

@mommy3, I wouldn't be too concerned. The weight estimates thought u/s are just that; estimates. And they're known for being notoriously wrong. My sil was given a c section because they told her baby was nearly 9 lbs and that she wouldn't be able to deliver on her own (which is bs...lol) but they took him 2 weeks early and he was only 7lbs!
