Today my mom told me my hubby and I need to find a place to live and get settled then she'll give us Bently back (we all live together right now but when we move she would take him until we got settled)
Well I don't want to leave him obviously and we're looking to move out of state, where is a good place to go with good job opportunities and not as expensive as San Diego but still a nice place to raise a kid.

@mommaov3, omg it's so hot there! But I didn't think of that. I'll look into it. Any specific parts of Texas?

it's very hot love, very, not gonna lie. But, there rent is great and job opportunities are there , gas is way cheaper as well. We lived in Houston, we came back because we were homesick.

Northern California is way cheaper than southern. I used to live in Orange County ($1700 a mo for a one bedroom apartment.), now I live up by Sacramento and we are paying the same for a three bedroom room/2 bathroom actual house with a fenced in back yard. It's crazy stupid now pricy it is to live down there. Anywhere in the Midwest is cheap as heck, but that's just it... When you live somewhere with good weather year round your going to have to end up paying, what i call, the "sun tax". It's going to be more expensive where the weather is good.

@jennatess, I've been up to NorCal many times but never paid any attention to the living aspect of it. I had no idea it was that much cheaper!
