I'm on the same boat. Mine said robitussin DM and nothing more. That is perfect for my cough which is almost done but my nasal congestion doesn't even let me sleep at all. I have been like this 3 days and I am desperate.

My doctor told me to try not to take anything just rest and drink juice and suck on vitamin c drops

sudafed is the only thing I was told to take when I had a nasty cold

you can take cold medicine & cough drops. I can't remember which medicines off the top of my head, but my doctor gave me a list of them. I would just call your doctor and ask what she recommends.
