If he's gotten bottles and breast for a while he probably has nipple confusion. Try a nipple shield

@thehowtohippie, he started off with the bottle cause doctor wanted him to cause of how weak I was after giving birth to him..

have you gotten in touch with a lactation constant. they really work wonders!

Then he definitely has nipple confusion. If you want to keep trying try a nipple shield it'll give the illusion of a bottle but you'll get to nurse. And stop giving bottles as much as possible. Once he's steady on the shield you can try weaning from that

I was upset about it too. but it's okay. all long as he is getting fed.

@steph11, @thehowtohippie I'm just tired of trying I've tried like so many times even with the breastfeeding nurse in the hospital he still wouldn't take any. I think I'm just gonna stick with the bottles.. @blessedmommy yes exactly as long as he's getting fed he's good it's just I've been exhausted, with Matt working everyday, I'm the only one taking care of him well my mom helps out when she can other than that I'm doing it alone, then when Matt comes home he takes over.. I have that problem to but I'm not giving up. I'm pumping and feeding him that way hopefully by the time he's 1 month he will latch. I was getting upset and I notice that by me being upset that mad him upset as well.

my baby girl also didn't latch didn't want the boobie so I'm pumping and giving her breast milk from a bottles that have the same nipple as you nipple

it took my son like 4 weeks to latch on correctly so keep trying n ull get it! its frustrating but worth it

I did pump for a while but it was time consuming so now he is fully on formula and growing like a weed.
