@firstbaby_girl, the breastfeeding nurse at the hospital told me to keep trying to get him on the boobs but all he does is he'll put his mouth on my nipples but won't eat anything every time so I don't know if I should keep trying

Lol its the opposite for me and my Maximus, hes starting to hate bottles and only wants boob. My bf has a hard time getting him to take bottles now while im at work and we never had that issue before lol

you can keep trying. its not too late. try having your nipple close to his mouth squirting a little milk into his mouth to see if he gets interested. you should talk to some moms on here. @thehowtohippie @_akgirl _ak

You should see a certified lactation consultant to have your latch looked at they can give you tips and help to latch if all else fails you can buy a nipple shield which would help in assisting to latch. However that is if all else fails use it as a last resort lots of people are quick to suggest them when often they're not needed.
