So, with my first born, I was 18, and didn't really have a birth plan or anything. It was so crazy at the hospital during my delivery and so many people in and out of the room after my son was born and I didn't get much alone time with my baby and I really regret it. So, with this baby I'm really thinking about not telling anyone I'm in labor, except for my mom because she will have to babysit my son. I want it to only be me and my boyfriend in the room during labor and want only my son and boyfriend in the room for at least an hour after delivery. I want a chance to rest and bond with our little family. Do you think this is selfish??

I don't at all! my hubby and I want it to be just us as I labor and then just us 3 as long as we can. we are inviting parents and siblings to hospital to see right after but I.don't want anyone in the room. my mom is upset but its totally our decision to make !

no I plan on only having my boyfriend mom and sister to be there. My boyfriend wouldn't be there on time so I want my sister and mom to be there at least until he can make it.

My husband and mom who'll be the only ones there and just in case my husband passes out! He's a baby when it comes to stuff like this. I'm not allowing anyone in the room until I'm ready idk when that will be considering this is my first. People are upset but idc!

That's my plan too. This is my first baby and I want to cherish every moment. No friends no family. Just me, him and my mom. I also don't want any there for at least 3hrs after just so we can have alone time with her and I can rest. I'll be dammed if my baby spends her first hours on earth being passed around from hand to hand. If people get offended the oh well, they can go get pregnant and have an experience of there own😁

No i don't think it is. You can also let the nurses know what you want and they will play your bodyguards for you☺️so then if anyone gets in their feelings they won't take it out on you they will just be mad at the nurses who obviously won't care lol.

We are actually not allowing any visitors in the hospital. They have to wait until we are back at home. My husband just want it to be a special time with just us. We are also not allowing any out of town visitors for 2 weeks later.
