No one ever warns you about the first period after delivery. I have soaked through a whole pack of pads, all my undies, and most of my pj's/lounge pants in a matter of 3 days. I had no warning either. I was at school and suddenly I felt a gush, and bam. blood was streaming down my legs. Luckily I was in my cna class that only has girls and one of them was nice enough to let me borrow an extra pair of shorts until the end of class.
