went to the doc yesterday for my follow up.
1. I have HIGH blood pressure. it's freaking me out. my gf lost her baby last year at 8 months due to this. my feet and hands were extremely swollen.
2. she tried checking my cervix but I was tight and she was hurting me so she didn't go all the way up and couldn't tell if I was dialated. DOES THIS MEAN I'll have a hard time PUSHING if I couldn't even stand her fingers going up!?

don't stress too much about your blood pressure just try to keep calm or else it'll go even higher.. as for your cucah being so tight... now would be the time to start stretching it out or else it'll probably be more painful to push the baby out.

What does your doctor suggest? You may also be able to find a doula who can advise and support you too. A friend of mine hired one shortly before giving birth.

@rawrgasaur, she said to come back on sat to check on it. and to check myself daily at home. and I've tried searching doula s but can't afford it :( nor qualify for assitance.)
took an epsom salt bath last night...for the first time. I think it may have helped..just looked at my feet they look better

@alianagirl, oh, sometimes there are free doula programs depending on where you live. Usually students training to be nurses or midwives. Idk if there's a program like that in your area. Epsom salt helps and so does lavender and Rosemary with the swelling. I've had the swelling bad for the past couple of months. 😣

@rawrgasaur, i just lost my mucus plug! what! does the Epsom salt do this? I noticed you're past your 40 weeks when did you lose ur plug?
