same thing happen to me ... and the next day on my due date I went in labor had my baby in less then 3 hrs

This week has been really tough and finding out today that nothing is even happening just took the cake. At least a date for induction would have made me feel better @mssjudyk

u never know I was having no signs what so ever my midwife was like well looks like you will be pregnant for another week ... and I woke up with cramps had them all day but didn't think nothing of it and at 10pm they got a lil painful were coming every 30 min then at 11 they were 15 and stayed like that till my water broke at 1230am my baby was born at 125am

I wasn't dilated or effaced at all until I was in active labor. It all happens faster than you think and everyone's body is different. A due date is an estimate and it's super common to go 2 weeks early or 2 weeks late.

My due date was the 4th of July (sat)... on the 3rd (fri) I had my ob appt. she checked me and I wasn't thinned out and my cervix was closed, not to mention he hadn't dropped, so it was hard for them to reach my cervix. needless to say in was super upset. and I cried. but!! then Monday morning at 3 am I went to go per and saw the sight of blood... soon after I was having super mild contractions, could barely feel them. by 4 am I was feeling them come on Very strong... When I arrived at the hospital they checked me and I was only 1 cm. .. an hour later I'm 5 cm!! I had him that same day at 1030 pm

yep ... lol I'm still in shock over my labor and my baby is 10 months

Yea she will come. I'm usually closed until I'm in actual labor. Just know you will have your baby in a matter of days instead of months lol

I know the due date is an estimate I was just hoping that the dr would talk About a appointment to induce me at least but it didn't even sound like that would be happening soon. I guess i just gotta keep positive and know baby girl is safe and sound in my belly @kmally

Did they do a weep of your cervix?/Sometimes that helps get things going

@Karnawest my doc said they can't do a sweep unless you're a little bit dilated? Not sure if that's true or not?

Sweeps I've tried everything except for Castro oil but I am so close to doing it contractions come and go I'm so fed up I don't sleep at night cuz of the discomfort and I'm being so grumpy to everyone 😞😣😔 I can't help it I just want to know if he is coming yet like you said at least tell me if I'm getting induced 😥😞
