Husbands aunt is throwing a baby shower for me, my family is in another state and its hard for my husband and I to ask off to go there. So I figured they can come to this one, except that his aunt doesn't want them to come. She insists that they should have their own for me. She has invited 50+ people that I don't even know. Yes it's nice of her to do something for me but what good is it if I can't enjoy my daughters celebration with my own family? She has never even met them to say she doesn't like them.

whoever you want to invite too your baby shower should be welcome to come family and friends that's not right

I agree, my husband talked to her so that they would come but I don't want to feel like she is doing any favors for my family by inviting them. They are obviously not welcomed, hopefully my husband will understand when I tell him that I won't put my family through that. Hell I don't even want to go to it anymore. But Things are already paid for
