My daughter started a Lil after 2 months. she also goes into her crib usually fully awake and goes right to sleep by herself. it's so nice lol. but what's the CIO method?

The routine he's on now is how it's been since he was almost 7 months old.

My son slept through the night at 5 weeks old until he was like 4.5 months old. Then when he was almost 7 months old we started doing the CIO method and sleep training which only took 4 nights to get him used to it. Now he's 17 months old and I lay him down in his crib every night fully awake and he falls asleep on his own and sleeps all night.
