I just had my daughter on Tuesday and we came home Thursday night and she's slept in the bed with me since we've been home. If I put her in her crib she freaks out and I just feel safer with her right next to me so I can constantly feel her and check to see if she's okay. I'm just scared that it's not a good idea because of SIDS. @eneoster @fancybeads_ru
I actually slept with them on my chest since I felt the pressure on my chest I never flipped on my side I slept on the couch for the first three months cause I was on leave and my husband had to be up early
@fancybeads_ru, my husbands would probably not let me go that long but I wouldn't mind. @raelynnsmommy
I honestly feel safer with her by my side. if you're not a heavy sleeper its not a big deal & SIDS happen in cribs too I rather have her there than anywhere else. my baby actually didn't like her crib or her bassinet when we 1st came home from the hospital. and I had promised my husband I wouldn't put her in the bed cause the whole "getting used to it" thing but I wasn't getting any sleep so I told him "f u" and started doing it lol
It wasn't my plan to co sleep but the first couple of nights after being born she would not sleep in the hospital bassinet so when we came home she didn't wanna sleep in her bassinet so because of that we bought a co sleeper that goes in the bed and she sleeps in bed with us
