It's an intense laxative that will make you cramp in order to empty your bowls. So say the bowl cramping causes contractions/uterus cramping which causes labor. It's very unsafe as it can dehydrate you and baby. Remember what you take baby takes so you taking a laxative like castor oil which is very strong can cause those same bowl cramps to your baby causing their first poop to be inside the womb that they can then breath into their lungs.
