I just read it's not safe to have sex when you've dilated or lost your mucus plug because it will give the baby an infection?!?!?!

Doctor told me when my plug comes out to not have sex because there's nothing blocking infection to the baby at that point. I don't know about dilating. I had sex when I was dilating to dilate more lol. but I didn't loose my plug yet when I was doing that and my baby is fine, so idk about that one

yes, your mucus plug is what protects the womb... call your doctor to make sure.
