Doctor told me when my plug comes out to not have sex because there's nothing blocking infection to the baby at that point. I don't know about dilating. I had sex when I was dilating to dilate more lol. but I didn't loose my plug yet when I was doing that and my baby is fine, so idk about that one

yes, your mucus plug is what protects the womb... call your doctor to make sure.
