So it just dawned on me I never gave my labor story! Well I lost my mucus plug and had the blood show after having contractions about 10 minutes apart for a little over an hour on Wednesday night and then they stopped... I had already discussed having a planned c-section because of complications with my first so the next morning I was having contractions again but nothing closer then 10 minutes. So I called my Doctor and spoke to the nurse asking how far into labor do they want me to go before coming in since we are doing a c-section... Nurse talked to my Doctor and told me to go to L&D to get checked out. I didn't call my husband out of work just sent him some text messages telling him what was going on. I really thought they where just going to send me home so I had my mother in law take me and my father in law watched my 2 yr old while I went to get monitored. While strapped to the monitor they where picking up contractions I wasn't even feeling and the ones I did where strong contractions but I still was only 2 1/2 cm. They checked my cervixs which was 100% soften and told me that they where going to go ahead and monitor me the rest of the day and have a c-section scheduled for 530 just in case. The contractions kept coming stronger and more frequently so by 3 pm they decided to go ahead and take her because my water was going to break any second. By 330 everyone who needed to know was notified and my husband came home from work and to the hospital. My husband used to work at this hospital and knew a lot of people there. Needless to say he had to be paged to the OR and every nurse was looking for him!!!! I didn't see my husband til after they gave me my spinal tap! Talk about PISSED!!!! Anyways the c-section went great except for my bp dropping and trying not to pass out. During the c-section they discovered my daughter was BREACHED and so it turned out to be a good thing we went ahead did the c-section instead of laboring for hours and then having an emergency! Landry was coming out butt first with her face in her knees, bless her heart. She was born with a skin tag on her face which is nothing serious just needs to be removed so she won't mess with it. She was born at 38 weeks and 1 day and was 7lbs 6 oz and 21 inches long!
