I got an odd cud b tmi question... Im 36 weeks today my dr said i was at a 3cm on Thursday i hav had no contractions no pain. But oddly im like swelled down below. I went pee n wiped and knoticed that it was lik puffy lol! Any idea as to why or like is that normal? First time mom.

Did you have sex when I was pregnant with my boys it always got like that after sex and it would stay like that for awhile.

Thats normal. Some women just dont notice but as you get close to delivery you swell down there, my doctor told me that. It's just a sign your getting closer and your body is preparing itself for the big day 😊

@kjsimon, lol i thought about tht but tht was lik tuesday its Saturday now. @morgan_colangelo my dr was concerned that when they did the cervix check he would irritate it being i was at 3 (first cervix check) but itd make sense to swell bc it goes away n then if i get lik a lil uncomfortable it will swell again lik with braxton hicks or contractions

@kjsimon, that wouldnt cause it to swell and go down then swell again i wouldnt think? Idk i just worry about going into labor i work and hr away from my hospital. I know everyone's pregnancies are different my moms longest labor was 6 hours when she was induced with her first one all of us other 4 were 2 hour long labor 2 pushes
