It's not just to boil out chemicals, it's also to boil out weird bacterium and such that could irritate your baby's skin! I would recommend boiling regardless

I use distilled water and haven't had any problems. But I've also boiled water too, so either works! :)

It's more important to boil well water!! Boiling kills microbes. Chemicals and minerals can't be boiled out--they have to be filtered.

Just use bottled water
