I feel like there will never be enough money to do anything. I need internet in my home so I can do some online courses. my husband says we can't afford it. he says he has to keep renting a car because every time he turns around I have a drs appointment. I ask him are we going to get the listings for the houses he says we can't afford that due to he had to pay his credit card bill. hell can we afford trash bags? I'm trying to help but with no internet I can't get the money. I'm stressed. plus with the baby on the way how in the ham sandwich can we afford him? sometimes I just want to move back in with my father and start all over again.

My husband use to say the same thing then I noticed he ALWAYS had money to do what he wanted to do. I called him out on it. He no longer says it and if he has to go without I still get what I need...Money is a big issue in marriage and I told him even though I'm not working I deserve to know all that is coming in and going out. His communication has gotten a lot better. Have to tried to have a convo as such?

@cameryn_cameronsmom2016, yes I have had that convo with him. it always seems to start an argument. Now when I had my money and I was the one paying bills and things, I seemed to always have extra left over. He makes around the same amount I did every month and it seems to be disappearing. I'm so stressed and just want to throw my hands up because I can never get done what I need to do. but when I had money I made sure I had some for him.. I'm tired of it. I want to go to my dads so bad

Renting a car is a pretty bug expense. Maybe he could invest in one and just pay a monthly payment. Finances are like one of the biggest stress factors in marriage. Communication is the only thing that's gonna make that easier. We had to actually sit down and write out all of our expenses and how much money we bring in monthly. Its been so much easier since then. Less and less talk of money.

It seems strange, but maybe going back, even for a few days might straighten him out and make him realize he's messing up

Yeah I understand completely. It needs to be reciprocated. Maybe he needs an ultimatum to get it together. Sorry you are going through this. My husband hates to argue so he kinda just said ok....I hope it gets better for you.

@caseclosed2015, that's my problem with him, he said he doesn't want to own a car because every car he has had broke down a month or two later. I'm tired of crying. I'm used to having my own money. now I'm not in the Army nor am I in school. when I got released from the Army I had $3000 dollars in my bank account. but the day I landed back home he started talking about he need this and he needs that. its all about him and never us. I'm tired

As you can see its gonna get old and FAST. You gotta do what you think is best. If he can't understand then...... I hope you can figure it out. The sooner you start schools the better. I'm using my G.I. Bill now as well and its contributed greatly to our household.

I would love to use mine @caseclosed2015 , but no internet. I would live to attend a regular college but my hips don't allow me to move around that much
