talk to your mom? my little brother was the same way then he started hanging out with the wrong people but he didn't go to school because my mom worked & wasn't there to tell him to go but anyways he started hanging out with the wrong people & now he's been to prison for a year & is in a gang & to far to get him out 😣😢

if he's already got the mindset of not going to school it'll probably be hard to get him to actually go :/ talk to your mom and try to make her realize that it's not a good situation/environment for him. could he stay with you or someone else?

i have talked to her i did all last year....she knows shes on the verge of going to jail for this and getting dcfs invovled to remove him if he doesnt go and its like neither of them care...he runs the streets doing whatever whenever because she works nights....and then she gets off and drinks all night and then guess who doesnt go to school. i dont want to see my brother drop our at 12 years old thats just terrible and unacceptable. she wont listen to anyone because when someone says something about it she gets offended and thinks their being mean. @kainesmadre

i told him he could move in with me when we got out apartment but i told them their would be rules and boundries and he would have to go to school and he backed out of moving in as soon as i got it. he doesnt have anywhere else to go. @jalensmommy

im sorry ur going thru that hun that must suck..I have a 21 year old sis that was doing good...but now shes wasted so much time just smoking weed & just being dumb...i have nothing against smoking but if it affects ur priorities i do! just had a fight with her but oh well she's far away from me..n not a little girl anymore either...ahhh thanks i vented a little lol but yeah i hope u can talk some sense into ur mom so she can be on top of that :\

I know it's not your responsibility but are you able to drive him back and forth? I had to do that with my youngest brother (not my mom son) but his mom never made him go to school. I used to drive almost an hour to his house just to pick him up and drop him off myself

i dont have a car. and my boyfriend leaves to work at 6 in the morning. he only lives a couple blocks from the school he is in walking distance...he just doesnt go....@aliya0915,
