SO HEARTBROKEN over my nephew! He is 6 years old and I have been a second mother to him since he was born, he has spent countless nights and days with me, he is like one of my babies... Well My brothers gf (the mother) left my brother and now she just told me yesterday she moved away (about 1500 miles away). I didn't even get to say good bye to my nephew and I have been crying on and off for the past couple months! im pregnant and cant travel right now because if I could I would! I dont want him to forget about me and how much I love him!!!

im sorry ull b missing ur source of sunshine. my sister moved two states aways...and would come and go often until she couldnt anymore. the babies only forget if u dont look for them...sending letters with photos skyping or simply flying over will help. Dont hurt urself or ur sis in law by throwing it in her face that she didnt let u say good bye. we are women and sometimes we gotta have empathy while they dont. right now she is becoming a single mom...losing her dreams of a family. if she sees ur still friendly it may seem less bad of a situation. just my idea. :) just take it as if she was upset and couldnt show u love because of it.

I haven't been hostile towards her at all, I knew this day was coming eventually, her whole family moved the previous year and my brother was no help to her, me and my sister were her only help. I know it was best for him to go but I feel like a piece of my heart went too! Thank you for the advice, it'd be nice to write to him and be pen pals, they grow up so fast! We are all very close with each other's children, its like they're all our children!

they will remain that way always no matter how far. my niece the one i mentioned chose to go to usc cus she said cali held her sweetest memories. she wanted to hang with us :)
