How long did you ladies wait to take your baby out around people. . eg. Walmart etc...

I haven't had mine yet but my friend said she took her kids out after a few days. I figured I would wait a couple weeks after Isabella is born to take her out

I had my daughter 6 years ago and as a first time mom I was scared to take her anywhere but the doctor for like 3weeks but with this one I don't think I will be that way. I would say just dont stay out too long, don't let people touch her and bring sanitizer with you.

I've always been an on the go type of person so I felt bad when I had to take my 4 week old out with me but I read a study that there is no right time to take them out, introducing them to the world early will only make them interested in learning about and being outside. The only thing about it is that you have to be very careful about strangers coming in close contact with or touching your baby. Keep them covered.

i took my son out to Walmart when he was a few days old I had to go after his Dr appointment and grab stuff I kept his car seat covered with a blanket cause it was cold but it also kept strangers from coming up and getting in his face and stuff

I took my daughter out at 2weeks bt no one was allowed to touch her lol or sometimes look at her.. And we didnt keep her out for too long. I sound crazy bt i am a first time mom n i jst dnt want ppl idk to touch her(there are alot of weirdos out there lol)

It all depends, my dad n sister in law took my niece to a Red Sox baseball game when she was 5 days old. My dad later thought about it and said it probably wasn't a food idea but she is now 8 yrs old and hasn't had a single problem if anything she loves to be dirty and do outdoors stuff, probably doesn't help she has 4 older brothers haha
