August 12th around 1:45 I woke up to use the bathroom, didn't use any light neither did i flush the toilet and so my cousin woke up and came in after me she later came in the room and said "cle, you know your bleeding?" i said WHAT!? NO.. WHERE? She said come look.. so I went in the bathroom looked in the toilet saw what i assumed to be my mucus plug i sat on the toilet wiped saw a little blood i was terrified and my cousin didn't make it any better lol.. my aunt had woke up around 2:30 i told her what i saw she asked how I felt i said little contractions but it's not bad. She said ok that's normal probably just Braxton hicks.. i said ok fine. layed down try to go back to sleep but my back just kept on hurting i remembering sitting at the edge of the bed rubbing my stomach and breathing in and out. The contractions got really bad so i came on peggie looking for advice and asking questions, everyone said its normal to loose my plug and probably still not in labor as the time went by those contractions were really close so i decided to call L&D at about 4am the lady asked had my water broken i said no she asked how far are the contractions i said 5-10 mins apart then she asked is it my first child i said yes she said ok your contractions has to be 2-3 mins in order for you to be in active labor. I said ok and hanged up after i hanged up the contactions got really close and really bad i couldn't stay in one place i had to move around walk about even did a little exercises. I tried to lay down and watch tv but i couldn't i was so worried that i would of had my baby at home because of the pain I was in. . around 7am everyone woke up and was getting ready for work so i decided I'll go to L&D just to make sure everything is ok.. hours later i still didn't go I stayed home for about 3 almost 4 more hours... around 9am i finally got an hour sleep & woke up about 10:30am the pain was so really i couldn't lay down anymore so my aunt decided she'll take me over to the hospital i got there at 10:52am was asked to put on the hospital gown and later put on monitors the doctor came in within 10 mins later and checked my cervix i was already 5cm dilated the got me into the delivery room and hooked up the iv and more monitors i waited for about 2 hours until I got the epidural when i got it was still at 5cm the gave me something to speed things up baby's heart rate kept going down so i had to be put on oxygen after the epidural everything was smooth sailing and i was so ready to meet my baby girl. doctors and nurses rushed in at about 4:58pm getting prepared to deliver at aorund 5:03 i was told to hold my legs & start pushing at 5:12pm my baby girl was born 5lbs 4oz when she had her first cry i cryed with her😢 when i got to hold her it was unbelievable I couldn't believe i was holding such a beautiful miracle i held her for about 5 seconds then she was later takin to nicu got there at 7pm and when i saw her i cryed again she stayed in the nicu for about a week due to her being born at 36 weeks tomorrow my baby girl will finally be home and i can't wait!!!!!💖💗💟🎀👑
