@heykaidensmom, I'm the exact same. After my husband leaves for work I can barely sleep because the slightest noise or the dog barking freaks me out. I sleep with a gun very close and a baseball bat in reach!!!!

I hate it when my husband works nights too (which he starts tomorrow). Our town has gotten really bad about break in too. 3 stores down the road from us got broken into too. My dogs will bark when they hear something and when my big one starts growling it gets really freaky. I hate it
