Ladies how do I tell Braxton hicks from real contractions? I'm having something but idk what?
They started yesterday around 5pm so it's been about 24 hours. Kinda like a period cramp but it wraps around my sides and kinda into my butt. They hurt. It's not like the worst pain ever but I have to stop moving or whatever I'm doing. Walking doesn't help. I've also had diahreah for 3 days but the crampy things didn't start yesterday.
I don't feel like I'm in labor but I've never been in labor so I guess I don't know what that would feel like

you might want to go to the hospital to check if you really are just 34 weeks

Braxton hicks just feels like tightning of the stomach. no pain. co,reactions are painful.

I'm thinking I'm gonna call my doctor. I don't feel like they have gotten more frequent or at regular intervals or anything but idk what's normal. I'll be 35 weeks tomorrow. @ce5ce

I haven't tried today but yesterday cold water didn't seem to help them @momma588

They vary. I've had a few at like 15-20 minutes apart and others that are an hour or so but I've had a few that couldn't have been more than 5 minutes apart @jrose114 but it's hard to tell because they aren't regular at all I don't think I haven't really timed them it's estimates

Call your OB. If they were closer together I would say go on in but I would call her and see what she suggests

I had crazy Contractions from 27 weeks on :/ when I actually did go into labor it was so different even though the contractions I was feeling were so painful. They were like an immense pressure on my cervix and like someone was pushing down on the top of my uterus. They were very different and I felt like if my water hadn't broken I'd definitely know that I was in labor.
