hey ladies. I wouldn't ask anything of you guys if it wasn't truly important. as some of you know, there are fires raging through Washington state and destroying people's homes. one of those homes belongs to my roommate/best friend here in Germany. Her father built this house over the course of 11 years, and today it was destroyed in the fires. thankfully, he had already evacuated after trying to fight some of the fires himself for a while. but everything he owned, most of it he built himself or with his daughters, was in that house. the link below is to a page for donations to help him out. the fires are still ongoing and my roommate is about to fly home on emergency leave to be with her family and help with the fires. please keep everyone effected during this tragedy in your thoughts.
