A good blender or food processor will be cheaper and you'll use it longer. Better investment. Also my experience with "baby food makers" they're so small so unless you're going to be making food every day instead of all at once then freezing they just aren't worth it. I used my food processor making 8 cups of food at once and I would just freeze the food. A month worth of food took me an hour.
Look at Walmart and big lots. I got both my blender and food processor for $30 both hold 8 cups. And getting those are an investment you'll use them for years. If you spend $30 on this baby food maker you'll only use it for puréed foods which that stage you'll only do for 2-3 months and blender or food processor you'll use for years. I'd rather drop $50 on a nice blender I'll use every day for 5+ years then a baby food maker that I'll use for maybe 3 months. $10 per month verse $10 a year.

a blender or food processor works fine for making baby food. if you have either, save you money.

I don't think they are worth it for the little while you might use it. nothing a $5.00 food chopper from Walmart won't do.

also look into "baby led weaning" as a possible idea to switch.
