It depends on the state, some have made it a law to rear face until the baby is 2 years old, it's so much safer! If it's legal to rear face early depending on the seat it's 21+.. I'm not for early forward facing at all, I'd rather her legs be broken then her neck and spine but that's my personal opinion. .
My doctor told me the new law that will be going into affect here in Texas is that that must sit rear facing until they are 2 no matter what they weigh. @kaidenleewadesmommy
